Robert and Alyce Parsons founded Hundred Palms, LLC in 1997 to provide market-rate, service-oriented, residential-style senior housing, including Assisted Living and Alzheimer's services.
In addition to its own activities, Hundred Palms advises local agencies (including housing authorities), non-profit housing providers, and non-profit developers on matters associated with affordable senior housing, including the National Development Council (NDC); the city of Signal Hill, CA; the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara; and the Presbyterian Church.
Chairman and CEO
Robert boasts twenty-three years of experience in business and management, overseeing all financial aspects of the company, business development, and institutional relationships necessary to its continued growth and success.
President and COO
Alyce has spent the past fifteen years managing retirement and Assisted Living communities, and is recognized for her ability to speak fluently and act capably on issues particular to this industry. Well studied in the field of therapeutic architectural design, Alyce clearly understands the crucial role a project's design and operation has in creating a therapeutic environment to ensure the highest quality care will be provided at Parsons House facilities.
Executive Director
Tom is originally from Maryland. He moved to Tucson in 1976 and pursued a career as a teacher and school administrator. Tom began his career in retirement and assisted living in 1989, starting as an activity director. He became an executive director in 1995 and has held that type of position since. Tom joined the Hundred Palms team as Executive Director in 2008. The things he likes most about working at Hundred Palms are the wonderful residents, the great staff and the support he receives from his bosses.
Assisted Living Director
Once her children were grown and making their own way in the world, Rebecca decided it was time for a 'career' change from wife and mother. Inspired by her mother's career as a nursing home administrator, Rebecca pursued a degree in health care management and has been directing assisted living programs since 1990. Born in Indiana and raised in Florida, Rebecca moved to Arizona in 2006 to join Hundred Palms as Assisted Living Director. Rebecca will not hesitate to tell you how much she loves Hundred Palms and all the wonderful people who surround her.
Director of Marketing
Pete is originally from Seattle, Washington. He moved to Tucson in 1994 and pursued a career as a sole owner of a small accounting practice. Pete began his career in retirement and assisted living in 2005, starting as an Office Manager. He became a Marketing Director in 2008 and has held that position since.
Pete joined the Hundred Palms team as their Office Manager in 2005 and in 2008 became their Marketing Director. The things he likes most about working at Hundred Palms are being an important part of the residents' lives, the great care and service provided to the residents, and working with his great co-workers at Hundred Palms.
Community Relations Director
Three years ago, Amy, her pastor husband, daughter and son, moved to Tucson from the east coast. Amy decided to re-enter the workforce after successfully shepherding both children into high school, and was welcomed to the team at Hundred Palms. With her college degree in Marketing, Amy feels she has found her ideal place as Community Relations Director at Hundred Palms. Informing the Tucson community about Hundred Palms and why it is such a great retirement community, is something that Amy never grows tired of sharing with people.
Director of "The Cottages"
With her husband's United States Army Career, Amy has lived in many places since growing up in Boise, Idaho. She has resided in Texas, Utah, Kansas, Oregon, Colorado, but now she can call Tucson "home." Amy moved from Colorado to be closer to her family and joined Hundred Palms in 2008. Starting out as Front Desk Receptionist, by Fall, Amy was promoted to Office Manager. She is now gearing up for her next promotion and will soon be to directing our Special Needs/Memory Care Program in the Cottages at Hundred Palms. The pure joy and friendship she receives from both residents and employees has made Hundred Palms Amy's favorite workplace ever.
