The health and happiness of our residents is our top priority. That's why we offer a menu of services and programs that focus on the physical wellbeing of our residents as well as the emotional. It keeps everyone feeling good inside and out.

"It's All About Choices" Healthy Living Program

At Hundred Palms Tucson Wellness is a part of day to day life. We believe wellness is about focusing on the whole person. Our "It's All About Choices" Healthy Living Program focuses on:

  • Daily exercise classes including (Tai Chi, Chair Exercise, Tucson Trekkers Walking Group)
  • Volunteer Activities including the Fan Drive, Cookies for a Cause, Holiday Food Drive, "Rock for Alzheimer's", charity work for local and national charities
  • Monday Intellectual Speaking Series  (including doctors, professors and health professionals)
  • Monthly Health Checks
  • Healthy Eating options at every meal including our "It's All About Choices" healthy living menu

Ongoing Resident Care

We work as a team with each resident's care providers to make sure each resident is getting the best care possible for their needs.  We make sure to do everything we can to maximize the life that each resident has with us, making the most out of every day.

  • Open dialog with residents' families and doctors
  • Weekly Resident Case Management meetings
  • Quarterly Care conference meetings with families
  • Monthly medication reviews with pharmacy
  • Close relationship with healthcare providers to manage care

Walk-A-Mile - all Month long

Don't mind the weather - we're walking indoors at Hundred Palms! Four to five weekly, meet with friends, walk and enjoy good conversation while you enjoy the benefits of physical activity.

Stretch and Tone

Tuesdays at 1:30. Carry on with your New Year's Resolution to be fit in 2012. Stretch and Tone is a great and fun way to safely stretch your muscles and keep them limber.
